APRIL 2005
It’s
just Dyl and mom this morning, with Keith and Ian at
the
Wow Mom
is home alone. I busy myself straightening up the place and then start on
cleaning out the bathroom closet. It is amazing the amount of expired
medication you find when you do this.
I end up with another small bag of donations and a
kitchen size bag full of trash. I shower and dress. Keith calls at
I get their stuff and then head to Wal-Mart to do
grocery shopping. (We haven’t gone in 2 weeks-house is getting bareJ) I get home around 130 and put the stuff away.
Dylan gets home around
He does his homework, and asks to ride his bike, no
problem; it may not be for too long, since Dad may call at any minute.
Well around 445 I call them, they haven’t
even started for home yet. They will call when they get to
Dylan comes in around 530 (just a few minutes after
Dad calls) and we get ready to go to the train station.
I was kinda disappointed they got home so late; I
thought we could have a family evening, but that didn’t happen. Oh well.
Uncle lance called while we were out. He left me a
message of Tony Stewart’s car doing his qualifying lap at
Well it’s back to work for mom, and the
weather is awful, but I’ll take it since it is NOT snow. It is expected
to rain here for the next 3 days.
I had hoped to pick up the paint and the new doors
for the exterior, but probably won’t get that done either.
Ian has
another sleep over party, this time at a friends
house, for his birthday. so Dylan is an only child
again.
Mom and Dad take him out for his choice of meals.. he picks Chinese food. while we are there he polishes off, 3 plate of the pineapple
after dinner things (he saw them bring it to another table after their meal and
his eyes lit up).
we head for home and order “Sharktale”
on the On Demand movie system. ahhhh
nice quiet night.
Ian said
he would call when he wanted to come home… this call doesn’t come
until 2:00, he had a great time, again the kid got no sleep, but once home he
plops in Dad’s recliner and is out for 3 hours.
Dad and Dylan headed for Gramma
B’s this AM to finish up the floor. so Mom has
been cleaning again. and doing laundry.
I place a
call to the Sales Rep at the development to discuss the LARGE deposit they
want. we get it worked out that it is only $1000.00 like when we bought our
current home, since when we close we want to put almost 50% down.
And we will get an extension on the time to return
the paperwork, since it is due in their office tomorrow.
So I talk
to Keith and let him know this, this is good for him too..
he will look at the papers in the AM and leave them
for me to finish tomorrow.
When I get home Keith has a question or two, about
the house and I tell him I will call the Sales Rep and find out.
I
still haven’t heard from Valrico, tho I have emailed the HR department in

have 4 more posted as “In Review” which is a good thing.

The bad
news is that tho Dr. S. is very happy with the results, we can not taper
ANYTHING, this time; since the LDH reading climbed JUST
out of the normal range. Fooey. Ian will be so
disappointed. L Me too.
Got a phone call from the Sales rep. he has our
paper work and things are looking good. he answered Keith’s question
about the home’s elevation (the design of the outside) he told us at
first that we could not have the elevation B that we wanted because the house
next door was to be the same house with elevation B but no bonus room, well
Keith thought these 2 looked very similar, which is what they DON’T want.
And sure enough, we CAN have it, because of that. J

More good news, the local charity finally came and
took all the donations away, we have a family room again. J
The whole family spent the day in the yard,
cleaning and burning, raking etc. Next is to trim the bushes out front and
start painting the house (as much as we can until the windows get done)
Mom scooted out to the local Home Depot, and picked
up the body and the accent paint for the outside of the house. I plan on
starting with the dog house and then the shed and then
the tree house, maybe by the time I get those done the *&*& windows
will be here. After the windows go in Keith can finish the kitchen floor, and I
can get that room put back together.
I look them over and it’s incredible. Keith
gets home early, and after tucking the boys in, we look over the papers, briefly.
Mom decided against working today, I am getting
tired of 6 days a week EVERY week.
Well after the kids head out on the bus, it’s Keith’s idea to sit down and go through the
options 1 page at a time so we don’t miss anything. YAAAHHHOOO!
lets go. after a few hours
and an additional $16,000.00 we have the house pretty well set except for the
cabinets.
So I head off to the PC and book the 4 of us plane
tickets to
I tell Ian when he gets home and with in 15 minutes
he is back with all his clothes for the trip, and looking for a suitcase to put
it in.
