SEPTEMBER 2005

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 2ND   , 2005

We pack up the trailer and head for home – the summer is over, L but it will be good to be home. The boys will be back to school on Tuesday and back into a routine.

TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 6TH , 2005

The boys did great on the 1st day back even tho they were a week behind, the town started school on the 30th of August, but we had vacation plans and couldn’t change them. They brought tons of things home to do, and catch up, but we’ll get it done.

We have the results of the last visit to Boston. And they are still looking great – we go down on the meds again. And if they come back just as good on the next set from the pediatrician, we can ditch the Cyclosporine totally.

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 11TH , 2005

4 years ago, cowards bombed the World Trade Center

          WE WILL NEVER FORGET !!!!

It is a busy day, we head to NHIS to drop the trailer,

for next weekend at the races. Once we are all in and settled.

And of course even tho we arrive together we are placed

opposite each

MONDAY SEPTEMBER 12TH , 2005

Mom heads back to school, this time taking WINDOWS 2003 ADMINISTRATION. This stuff is so much fun for me.

WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 14TH , 2005

Keith and I head out to run errands and stop at the Cingular store, and hubs does it to me again, I find a really kewl phone and he gets it before me, hmmph. Well he switches from Nextel to Cingular, and after looking at the phones last week Ian had picked out the one he wanted, but we weren’t going to switch carriers until we got to Florida. So I mention the phone for Ian and we pick that up too.

Boy is Dad going to be a hero, We head home and Keith sets Ian up, he puts Ian’s NEW phone in his case and when he gets home he asks him to get dad’s phone and bring it to him, has him take it out of the case, Ian’s jaw drops and he is thrilled, so the next few hours dad and he spend playing with their new phones.

Mom makes Dylan’s day by giving him Ian’s old phone. So now he has his own PRIOR to his 10th birthday. (Which is when I said I would get him his own)

THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 15TH , 2005

We head to NHIS, we arrive around 3pm only to find that they have crammed ANOTHER camper in the space between us and where the next trailer was so again , we DO NOT have enough room to open the awning.

It’s only a pop up and a closed one at that, so the guys grab it and move it over so that when we open the awning, it won’t flood the thing if it should rain.

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 16TH , 2005

Ian sells his beads – my lil’ entrepreneur, but we have to take the signs down because someone complained. Sheesh how petty can people get.

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 17TH , 2005

Truck race – Dylan, Gramma B, Dad, Brent and Kim go

TONY STEWART GETS POLE #2

FOR THE YEAR AT NHIS

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 18TH , 2005

The Cup race…. Everyone goes, it is an AWESOME race, but Newman JUST beat my guy, he should have had it. Oh well I saw him win in July.

Normally we would stay until tomorrow AM, but Dad starts a new position tomorrow and for training the hours are 0700-1530. so around 9pm we head out for home, this is the last camping trip for the year.

MONDAY SEPTEMBER 19TH , 2005

Keith starts his new job, in Maintenance, no more driving in the snow and the rain; I no longer have to worry about him getting in an accident when the Post Office sends him out on the road in a raging blizzard.

He is to spend the 1st week reading safety and then he’ll go back the evening shift with Wed/Thurs off. He gave up his week ends, but he won’t have to put up with the harassment from the 2 juvenile drivers I have on my shift.

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 23RD , 2005

Now at work we are down yet another person, instead of 4 people to cover, with 3 on at all times, we are down to 2 people for everything, Mom’s schedule is changed from 0400-1230 to 0545-1415. I could have worked the Overtime had I wanted to, but 10 hours a day and then 6 days a week would have been just too much. So I gave up the OT for better hours. I get to sleep in until 0500. aaaahhhhh.

Picture day at the elementary school,

Dylan has his nice shirt and is just

 SOOOO handsome in it.

MONDAY SEPTEMBER 26TH , 2005

OH wonderful news, the neighbors down the street who actually get the local paper tell Dad while at the bus stop, that there was an article listing A CLASS 3 PEDOPHILE, living in our neighborhood, you know the kind MOST LIKELY to do it again. Great, when Ian gets off the bus, he is the only one, no other kids etc. and after some research the creep lives only 346 yards from that bus stop, and even closer to some of the elementary bus stops. Eeeewwwwwwwww!

So now he uses his new cell phone to call Mom, to alert me that he is at a certain point on the ride home and I head for the bus stop to walk him home. It really stinks that I no longer can give him the freedom to come home on his own, like I was doing when I was just 6. The world today is just too messed up.

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 30TH , 2005

Ian had another set of blood work done – and we were told at the last visit to Boston that if these were normal also we could DISCONTINUE the Cyclosporine, Yahooooooooooo!!!! That has got to be the worst tasting stuff in the world, and the poor kid had to take it twice a day.
