I started these tutorials in order to slow down the flood of email I was getting asking me how I did certain graphics on my site. Alot of people who just started with Photoshop don't have any 3rd party plug ins, so I most of these tutorials require only native Photoshop filters. Now that Photoshop 5.5 is here, I will be doing tutorials for 5.5, but I will include instructions for 4 and 5 as well if possible. If you see something on my web site and want to know how it was done, email me with a request to do a tutorial on that specific thing. Some of my tutorials were by popular request. If you have a problem with a tutorial, check the Photoshop 5 basics page. This page describes some of the differences in versions 4 and 5, so if you know what the differences are, it may solve your problem. There are a few differences in 5 and 5.5, the way the filters are accessed, but they are all still under filters. And a few new tools and commands which I will cover in the first set of 5.5 tutorials..so hopefully whatever version of Photoshop you have, from 4 on up, you should be able to get something out of these tutorials. If you have a problem as always, just email me.
