The Face, or as Zorikh liked to call it, "Old Toecutter" from its uncanny resemblace to a character in Mad Max, filled the screen. He'd seen it on other channels as he flipped, doing exactly what it was doing now-looking up down, left right, and seeming to address people off screen. Zorikh, always a patient fan of cutting edge guerrila films, sat down to watch.
"Yes, well then..." the Face said in a slow British accent, the type that seemed fake. "Well done Evans, well done." It's eyes shifted from left to right. "Morat, how goes it with you? Any report?" The performance was the same as the other ones that Zorikh had witnessed, Old Toecutter addressed unseen people and paused, as if he were hearing replies. Zorikh rather enjoyed the performance. He had a penchant for watching street people talk to themselves, to see what would happen next. Usually, these bouts of public voyeurism ended in rather smelly shouting matches, escapable only by a tribute of loose change.
Here now, in the semi-comfort of his own home, Zorikh could satisfy his urge to "see what would happen next" without the pungent aftertaste. "And now" the Face continued as Zorikh returned from a kitchen run with a king's helping of Generic Foods Fosted Corn Flakes, "Let us welcome our new prospects. Two this time. Ilyana Flores" the Face swiveled to his far left, then turned abruptly to stare Zorikh right in the eyes, "and Zorikh Lequidre."
