In TV-film "Lie Down with Lions" Timothy Dalton less rides the hills
and mountain passes of Nagorny Karabakh than heals the horse's wounds, she had got in the fire-fight.
His hero Jack tries to help the luckless horse, he goes nearby instead of riding, and we are thinking
of his magnanimity, because at the moment bad guys are gunning for him himself and his wife with her
little child!
The traditional "happy end", however, can't blunt the edge of the
pain, the feeling of complete impotence and disability to do something to soothe sufferings of the
animal, when the heroine Kate, understanding, that this is no another way, kills the horse, who just
fell down with exhaustion.
Yes, "A blown horse should be gun down, isn't it?"! But it would be
better, if this event would take place in another movie
