In the film "Cromwell" Timothy Dalton brilliantly played all the battle
scenes, especially this one, where the cavalry, led by prince Rupert, is a real handful for Cromwell's
troops. Rupert rushes to the charge with all heat of youth, being sure, that his King and his army are
unwinnable. He sabres the enemies both left and right, bravely taking a dive into the midst of things.
Only a few minutes ago Rupert was sitting on the horse and petting the white poodle. He also talked
big, how soon and light he and his guys will win, and this is why it was impossible to believe, he
could be excellent in fight!
Yes, not Cromwell was really weak, but the King himself was! And very
soon Rupert will know defeat to the full. But it will be later, and now - look at the picture of this
war holiday one more time! For you we've tried to stop these moments of bravery, courage and
gallantry, Timothy presented us with!
30 years (!) passed since the moment of the First night for this film,
but the well done battle scenes of the Civil War in England still make the viewrs to be thrilled!
