About The Author
Robert George Mertens
is currently a resident of Orlando, Florida and is a graduate student at the University of Central Florida. In his spare time he enjoys writing, exploring, sailing and travel. He was born into a military family at Clark Air Force Base in the Philippine Islands. The family moved from base to base in the Air Force until his father retired and the family settled in Orlando.
Later, he entered the U.S. Air Force as an enlistee during the Vietnam War. During his enlistment, he married his wife, Lee, and took on a step-daughter, Joy. After his enlistment, he and his small family returned to Orlando, where he entered college at Florida Technological University (several years later, the name was changed to the University of Central Florida).
He attained his first bachelor's degree in 1980 in Engineering Technology at the University of Central Florida, after which he worked as an Electrical Engineer for seven years. During those years he was a design engineer on several projects, some of which included the Patriot Missile, the Space Shuttle, and the EA-6B (Electronic Counter Measures version of the A-6 Warthog).
In 1987 he returned to college and attained his second bachelor's degree in Physics in 1990. During this time, he tutored physics part-time and worked for a period on the AH-64 Apache Helicopter part-time as a student/engineer.
After his graduation, he continued college as a post- baccalaureate student, attending various mathematics and physics courses and developed the preliminary version from his notes of The Theory of the Time-Energy Relationship.
At the time of his graduation, he and his wife were separated and, two years later in 1992, they divorced.
In 1995, he completed the final version of the book and started the Γamma Publishing Company. He has written several other books, which were also published by the Γamma Publishing Company.
: In 1999, he closed Γamma Publishing Company. In 2001, he posted this book on the web for anyone to read and enjoy.
His future plans are to continue his research in physics, particularly Quantum Mechanics and General Relativity, using applications of the Time-Energy Theory to solve modern day quantum mechanical problems.

Sailing on the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Florida, slightly unshaven. That is his dog sleeping behind him.
If you have actually read through this entire book, then you have certainly earned the title, "scientist." It is not light reading. You can email the author at:
