Monday morning, first thing, we called my GYN (although now I guess he's my OBGYN), and they set up an appointment the very next day!  It was very hard to not say anything to anyone, especially with all the hub bub about Marcela's pregnancy. 

So we went to the OBGYN, which must have been an experience for Joe.  I was quite nervous, and as prepared to hear any number of non-happy diagnoses.  After numerous vials of blood were taken, along with just about any other bodily fluid you can imagine, we got to see the beginnings of the baby by sonogram, confirming the two HPTs.  I think this is definately when the expertise of Brandi, the wonderful PA, come into play, since all we saw was a miniscule gestational sac that, to my eyes, wasn't all that different than the other parts in there.  It's the small dark spot, just left of center in the picture.  The thickened uterus was quite enhanced and obvious, though.  It's nice to know the baby has a nice soft home to grow up in.  Now we can look forward to weeks of worry about miscarriage.
