During the meeting
- When called on by the Toastmaster, rise and explain the importance of good language in spoken communication.
- Listen carefully to all speeches, reports, comments, and other uses of spoken language. Keep track of the following:
- Misuse of words
- Incorrect pronunciations
- Cliches (0ver worked or trite expressions)
- Poor sentence construction
- And most importantly; superior use of language by any speaker
- When called on by the Toastmaster, rise and give a brief report on the use of language by members during the meeting.
After the meeting
- Turn in the completed Grammarian's report form to the club secretary.
