See Biography by Vivian Hill. He worked with Batman and Gellibrand to word the Batman Deeds in 1835, and came to Geelong with Gellibrand in 1837 to view the land purchased from the aborigines. They lost their way back to the settlement on the Yarra River and never seen again.
