This Indenture made the XXV day of March in the Year of Our Lord MDCCLIV Between Field Bradshaw of Cumberland County of the one part and Gideon Patterson of Goochland County of the other Part Witnefseth that the said Field for and in Consideration of One Hundred and Twenty Pounds Currt. money of Virginia to him in hand paid by the said Gideon Before the Insealing and Delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof he doth hereby Acknowledge hath given Granted sold Released & Confirmed and by these Presents doth give Grant sell Release and Confirm unto the said Gideon Patterson in his Actual Pofsefsion Three Hundred and Thirty Acres of Land Situate Lying and being in the County of Cumberland on both Sides of Deep Creek and is Part of a Tract of four Hundred Acres Granted to William Tabor by Patent bearing Date the Ninth Day of July one Thousand Seven Hundred and Thirty seven and by him Since Convey'd to William Bradshaw Deced.  Beginning at John Hopson's Line at the South Side of Deep Creek thence with his Line a South Course to a Corner white Oak in the said Hopsons Line Runing thence New Lines west Three Hundred and four poles to a Red Oak Thence North Two Hundred and Twenty four Poles Crofsing Deep Creek to the south side of a Branch thence East Two Hundred and Twenty four Poles to Pointers  Thence on William Bradshaw South fifty Six poles to a Corner Hickory Sapling by a path side   Thence aLong aline of New Mark'd Trees on Matthew Marks to the head of Mashses Spring Branch thence Down the said Branch to Deep Creek  Thence Down the South side of Deep Creek as it Meanders to the Beginning To Have and to Hold the said Three Hundred and Thirty Acres of Land and premifses with the Appurtenance be there more or Lefs unto the only proper and behoof of him the said Gideon Patterson the heirs and Afsigns for Ever in fee Simple against him the said Field Bradshaw his heirs and Against the Claim Chalenge Dower or Demand of Any other Person or Persons whatsoever In Witnefs whereof the said Field Bradshaw hath hereunto set his hand and Seal the Day and Year Above Written

Memorandum That on the XXV Day of March 1754 Peacable and Quiet Pofsefsion and Seizen of the Land and Premifses within Mentioned was had and Taken by the within Named Field Bradshaw and by him Deliver'd unto the within Nam'd Field Bradshaw and by him Deliver'd unto the within Named Gideon Patterson According The Usual Symbols of Livery and Seizen
