This Indenture made the 22nd Day of July in the Year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred and fifty four Between William Trigg and Mary his wife of Cumberland of the one part and Field Bradshaw of the same County of the other part Witnefseth that the said William Trigg and Mary his wife for and in Consideration of the sum of Sixteen pound Current money of Virginia to them in hand paid by the said Field Bradshaw before the Insealing and Delivering of these presents the Receipt whereof the said William Trigg and Mary his wife doth Acknowledge hath given granted and sold Aliened Enfcoffed and Confirmed and by these presents doth give grant bargain Sell aline Enfcoff and Confirm unto the said Field Bradshaw his heirs and Afsigns for Ever one Certain tract or parcel of Land lying and being in the County aforesaid Containing Seventy Acres be the same more or lefs and bounded as followeth Viz. Beginning on Deep Creek on hopsons line runing up the said Creek to the third Branch which which makes out of the North side of the said Creek to a corner gum so runing up the said branch to the head thence along a line of marked trees by consent to William Bradshaws corner upon the South Side to a red Oak so runing along Bradshaws line to John lHopsons Corner black Oak thence along Hopsons line to the Beginning to have and to Hold the said Tract of land and premifses with all and Singular the priviledges and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining to him the said Field Bradshaw his heirs and Afsigns forever and the said William Trigg and Mary his wife for themselve their heirs Executors Administrators doth covenant grant and agree to and with the said Field Bradshaw his heirs and Afsigns that he the said William Trigg shall and will forever warrant and Defend the said Land and premifses with the Appurtenances unto the said Field Bradshaw his heirs and Afsigns against the Claim and Demand of him the said William Trigg and Mary his wife their heirs Executors Administrators and against Every other person or persons whatsoever in Witness whereof the said William Trigg and Mary his wife hath hereunto set their hands and seals the Day and Year above written
Memorandum that Quiet and peacable pofsefsion and Seizen of the within granted land and premifses was had and taken the day and Year within mentioned from the within William Trigg by the said Field Bradshaw according to the form and Effect of the within Deed
Cumberland At a Court held for Cumberland County the 22nd day of July 1754 This Indenture together with the Memorandum endorsed was acknowledged by William Trigg a party thereto and Ordered to be Recorded
