This Indenture made the 22nd day of July in the Year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred and fifty four Between Field Bradshaw and Judith his wife of Cumberland county of the one part and William Bradshaw of the same County of the other part Witnefseth that the said Field Bradshaw and Judith his for and in Consideration of the sum of Twenty pounds Current money of Virginia to them in hand paid by the said William Bradshaw whereof the said Field Bradshaw and Judith his wife doth Acknowledge hath hath given granted bargained Sold Aliened Enfcoffed and Confirmed and by these presents doth give grant bargain Sell alien Enfscoff and Confirm unto the said William Bradshaw his heirs and Afsigns forEver two tracts or parcels of Land lying and being in the County aforesaid one Containing Seventy Acres be the same or lefs bounded as followeth Viz. Beginning on Deep Creek on Hopsons line runing up the said Creek to the third branch which makes out of the North  side of the said Creek to a Corner Gum so runing up the said branch to the head thence along a line of marked trees by Consent to William Bradshaws Corner upon upon the South line to a read Oak so runing along Bradshaws line to John Hopsons Corner Black Oak thence along Hopsons line to the beginning the other Containing one hundred and Thirty Acres and Bounded by three Corners Viz. Beginning at a Corner read Oak in John Hopsons line thence to two white Oaks thence to a black walnut tree To have and to Hold the said Tracts or parcels of Land and premifses with all and Singular the priviledges and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise Appertaining to him the said William Bradshaw his heirs and Afsigns to the only proper use of him the said William Bradshaw his heirs and Afsigns forEver and the said Field Bradshaw and Judith his wife for themselves their heirs Executors Administrators doth Covenant grant and agree to and with the said William Bradshaw his heirs and Afsigns that he the said Field Bradshaw shall and will forEver warrant and Defend the said Lands and premifses with the Appurtenances unto the said William Bradshaw his heirs and Afsigns against the Claim and Demand of him the said Field Bradshaw and Judith his wife their heirs Executors Administrators and against Every other person or persons what ever   In Witnefs whereof the said Field Bradshaw and Judith his wife hath hereunto set their hands and Seals the Day and Year above written

Memorandum That Quiet and peaceable Pofsefsion and Seizen of within granted lands and premifses was had and taken the day and Year within Mentioned from the within Field Bradshaw by the said William Bradshaw according to the form and Effect of the within written Deed

Cumberland  At a Court held for Cumberland County the 22nd day of July 1754  This Indenture together with the Memorandum endorsed was Acknowledged by Field Bradshaw a party thereto and Ordered to be Recorded
