This Indenture made this 24 Day of October in the year of our lord One thousand seven hundred and sixty. 7 Between John Bradshaw of Bedford County in the Colony of Virginia of the one part and Richard Bandy of the Said County of the other part Witnesseth that the said John Bratcher for and In consideration of the sum of thirty pounds Current money of Virginia to him in hand paid by the said Richard Bandey at or before the sealing and Delivery Hereof the Receipt Whereof he doth hereby acknowledge he the said John Bradshew hath Granted bargained sold aliend Released Enscofd and Confirmd by these presents doth grant bargain sell alien Release Enscoff & Confirm unto the said Richard Bandey and his heirs one Certain track or parcel of land Containing one hundred and sixty Eight acres lying on the North side of Stanton River in Bedford County and Bounded as follows to Wit beginning at a Double Pine tree at the Mouth of Lick Run thence Down the River South Seventy seven Degrees East two Hundred and twenty Poles to a White Oak thence North twenty seven Degrees West two hundred Poles to a White Oak thence North Sixty three Degrees East one hundred and ten Poles to a White Oak thence North twenty seven Degrees West two hundred and sixty Poles to a Chestnut on Lick Run thence Down Lick Run as it Meanders to the Beginning together With all Woods Under Woods Ways Waters Water Courses Profits Commodities advantages hereditaments & appurtinances Whatsoever to the said Track or parcel of land belonging or in any Wise appurtaining and the Reversions Remainder and Remainders together With all his Estate & Right Title Intrust property Claims and Demands Whatsoever of him the said John Bradshew of in and to the same to have and to hold the track or parcel of land and premises With the appurtinances unto the said Richard Bandey his heirs and assigns to the only proper use and Behoof of him the said Richard Bandey his heirs and assigns Absolutely forever and the said John Bradshew and his heirs and against all and Every other person or persons Whatsoever Lawfully Claiming or to Claim by from or under him them or any of them shall and Will Warrant and forever hereafter by these preasents Defend in Witness Whereof the said John Bradshaw hath hereunto set his hand and seal the Day and year Within Written John BradshawAt a Court held for Bedford County October 24th 1769 This Indenture and Memorandum of Livery of Seisen heron Endorsed Were acknowledged by John Bradshaw parts thereto and Ordered to be RecordedTest Ben Howard CBC |
