This indenture made this Twenty Second day of March one Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty Three between William Callaway of the County of Bedford of the one part and Samuell Bratcher of the County afore Said of the other part Witnesseth that the said William Callaway for and in Consideration of the Just and full sum of Ten pounds Current Money of Virginia to him in hand paid by the said Samuell Bratcher the Receipt where of he the said William Callaway doth hereby Acknowledge hath given Granted Bargained and Sold and by these presents doth give grant Bargain Sell Deliver and Confirm to him the said Samuell Bratcher his Heirs and Assigns forever one Certain Track or parcel of Land Situate Lying and being in the County of Bedford on the Branches of Little Otter River and Bounded as Followeth, towit, Beginning at pointers on Matthias Mountses line thence South Sixty five Degrees East Eighty Chain to pointers South Thirty Two Chain to pointers North Sixty degrees West Thirty Three Chain to a Hiccory North Seventy Two Degrees West fifty Three Chain Pointers North forty Degrees East Ninety Seven Chain to first Station Together with all and singular the priviledges and Appurtenances There unto Belonging or in any wise Appertaining To have and to hold the above sold Land and premises with all the Appertenances unto the said Samuell Bratcher his Heirs and Assigns forever to have hold use Occupy Possess and Enjoy the same with every Part and Parcel thereof to him the said Samuel Bradtcher his Heirs and Assigns forever to the only proper use and behoof of him the said Samuell Bratcher his Heirs and Assigns forever against him the said William Callaway his Heirs and Assigns and against the Claim and Demand of all other persons whatsoever shall and will by these presents Warrant and will forever Defend in Witness whereof he the said William Callaway hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and Year first above written.
