1) Introductions
2) Fund-raising: Arthur would be devoting the January concert benefits to Recycling Unlimited. The Group remained supportive.
3) Green Fair: kitchen team (start at 10) Arthur, John Walford, Debbie, Hilary, Eileen (Hilary to contact); stall Mark, Chris U; posters Arthur (Hull Food, RU, 101/2, Hull DOC), Chrys (laminates), Stephen (Chants, Cott Rd takeaways, Endike,), Chrys (Prinny Ave), Hilary (town), Mark (Newland Ave), Ian (uni), Chris U (Bev’y); set up Stephen, Carole, Hilary. David pick up with milk float 8.30. Tables on Friday (time to be arranged with Mr Hegarty: provisionally 8 pm ). Appeal for cakes by email. Sue/Stephen
4) Money Matters
5) CARGO: thanks to Hilary and Mark for effective and profitable work. Collections down, and agreed collections should stop during December, start again mid-January. Hull Daily Mail had run snippets about the collection and the volunteers had been inundated with impossible requests. Hull City Council recycling officer had agreed to a meeting, Monday 6 December 2004.
6) Collection could be replaced by building compost bins, and damaged pallets could be sold as firewood.
7) Casino at West Park. No planning application had been submitted. Grounds for objection would be that it would need more parking space.
8) CHEF having talk by Mark Jessop, City Council Road Safety Officer, Hull Business Centre, noon- 1.30, Wednesday 10 November.
9) Vegans have booked Xmas meal for 23 December at Hitchcock’s.
