Arthur suggested a fundraiser event. He would like to use money already raised to buy a polytunnel for the allotments (but see below, problems of vandalism). Raise reserves for future replacement of milk float. A band organised ("Ten Men" doing acoustic Simon & Garfunkel covers, plus support group, and Renegade Writers) and venue provisionally Spring Bank Community Centre. Date around 15 January. Possibly buffet provided by Hitchcock's. Ask CAMRA for guidance on beer. Arthur CARGO tag receipts statement circulated. CARGO is doing well, taking in more and more bags. Problems of vandalism on the allotments. Some of this was vindictiveness. The Council allotments officer had promised fencing. Once access point had been secured. A local firm had offered lorryloads of topsoil. Volunteers will be needed to spread it when it is delivered.

The Milk Float has had its MOT, and it needed 18hours 30 minutes of work, including welding (notional price £30/hour!). Express Dairies don't have any 2nd hand ones. Other types of electric vehicles? Meeting closed at 22:05.
