VIVA LAS VEGAS!
We awoke to the wonderful sound of sluts, i mean slots. Well not really, we were in the middle of the Circus Cicrus back parking lot, the only place on the strip to park an RV. We tried parallel parking, but after 45 minutes of backing in and out, we decided against it.
We walked around a little in the day, though in 105 degree heat, it's hard to walk very far. We caught the big Treasure Island pirate show (it's free!). We pretended to gamble, got free drinks. Walked around some more trying to figure out what show to see. There were so many. Cirque Du Soleil, The Blue Man Group, Sigfreid and Roy, Showgirls, more Showgirls, more Showgirls.
We decided on Cirque Du Soliel's Mystere. It was about a big snail and a little girl and they had all these clowns and people running and flipping around. It was great!
At night we realized we had only seen about 1/2 the strip. So we made a mad dash to see every casino on the strip. There are a lot. Laura wanted souveiners so we took the gambling cups. We got all the way down and about 3/4 of the way back before we hailed a cab.
We like Vegas.
Do you guys know it's over 100 degrees out there? That's too hot, let's go home!
