Yosemite, Yosemite, Yosemite and all things Yosemite.
Armed with our plan (reserve the horses, drive to Glacier Rock, see some falls, ride the horses to see other fun sights) we set on our way. Well the horses didn't go anywhere fun, so all our plans fell apart. But how bad could it be, we were in Yosemite. We started at Yosemite Fall even hiking beyond the fences where all the laymen took photos from. After the Fall we took the free shuttle to stop 12, which was actually stop 13 (our map was wrong, seriously) so we walked through a meadow and took some photos of the surroundings and Half Dome. A few more scenic vistas and then on to hike up to Vernal and Nevada falls.
The previous day's hike took a little more out of us and the clock was ticking. Knowing we had a long day ahead we decided not to go all the way to Nevada falls. We regretted it.
On to Glacier Rock for a high view of the whole valley. It was simply breathtaking. We really should have started there as it explained what the map couldn't. We left there and stopped to see Bridalveil Fall, El Capitan (the biggest block of granite) and The Cathedral (another big block of granite).
One more stop to go. We raced the sun to Tuolmne Grove to see some Sequioas. A mile hike all down a 6% grade was nice but knowing we had to hike back up made us weary. After seeing some big trees in the Valley, this was incredible. Sequioas are BIG, VERY BIG. We even saw one of the trees with a tunnel.
Phrase of the day: "The government is lying to us! Incorrect maps and miles that are actually more like 5."

A meadow.
The horse we opted not to ride. He looked a little weak.

This upclose photo of the fall is brought to you by your courageous travelers who braved the slippery rocks despite signs warning not to climb the rocks.
The photo friendly Half Dome.
Stupid deer, get out of the road.
Yosemite chapel.
Some old guy that used to hike here got a building, after he died. Thanks a lot.
