Driving to Yosemite from San Fran took a little over four hours. Most of the drive was easy but a little boring as we were anticipating Yosemite.
We arrived in the afternoon, checked in with the rangers and charted a plan of attack. Today we'd see Hetch Hetchy and hike a short 1.6 mile treck to a waterfall.
The 1.6 miles had to be as the crow flies because the hike was certainly longer than that. The hike was nice as it curved through rocks, through small meadows, and forests. Finally we hit our target but couldn't enjoy it too much as the sun was setting.
Phrase of the day: "It's only a mile and a half, it can't take that long."
After driving for hours across California, something nice to look at, finally.
