I know it's been a while since the last update. I've been so busy with standard November stuff - a zillion papers, projects, and assignments being due - that I simply didn't have time. But now classes are over, I have one paper and three finals, and then I'm FREE!!! Well, for two weeks, anyway.

I do intend to make the most of my freedom, though. I'm going to Florida for ten days, with Eliane. Should be nice and relaxing. Then I'm going up north for New Year's and will hopefully get a couple of days of skiing in.

In other news, I was on the waiting list for Birthright Israel, and I got accepted! Now I'm just hoping that there won't be a war or anything, so I can go. I can't wait! Also, I'm probably out of co-op cause I turned down a job in favour of holding out for the possibility of a better opportunity for the summer. So that means I can go to school instead of Ottawa in January. I'm annoyed with co-op for all their rules but I'm glad that I was finally able to make a decision, one way or the other.

In birthdays, a very happy 21st to Cathy tomorrow (the 2nd) who's now officially OLD! And happy 19th to Joanna on Monday the 4th, who will always be younger than me so I guess I can't make fun of her.

In news, Concordia renamed the commerce faculty the "John Molson School of Business", which I think is quite amusing. So now when I say I go to a beer school, I'm not kidding! Seriously, though, I wonder what future employers will think when they see that on my diploma. Oh yeah, and we also had an election . . . didn't we? In case anyone cares, the Liberals are in government again. Hey, at least we can actually pick a winner, unlike certain neighbours to the south . . . *a-hem*.
