November 3, 2000 Last night I saw what was easily the best concert of my entire life. Collective Soul played an amazing show at the Metropolis and I still have no voice, no hearing, and great memories. I also got to chat with all the band members, and got pictures and autographs. Check out my review for all the juicy details.
It's hard to think about anything else after that kind of show, but I want to say congratulations to Shawna and to Eric for getting on Birthright Israel trips. I'm sure they'll both have a great time. I only hope that the terrible violence going on there right now dies down soon. Speaking of Eric, he renovated his website recently so check it out.
Not much else has been happening lately, except for my complete lack of success in finding a co-op job for the winter. Looks like I'll be doing a school semester instead. This doesn't really bother me; I'd really prefer to go to school and look for a job that really interests me for the summer, than to just take a job that I'll probably dislike.
Oh yeah, I also bought a scarf and a pair of gloves, and a new set of ski poles cause my old ones were broken. We're planning a ski trip for winter break and I can't wait! Some people groan when they see snow, I cheer. I just gotta get the snow tires put on the car soon.
I updated my thought for the week. I've also added a feature to this site: a discussion forum. Now, if you have a comment or question about anything on the site, or just want to chat with other visitors, you have a forum. That doesn't mean I don't still want you to sign the guestbook, though. But check out the forum and feel free to get some discussion going.
Cheer up everyone! The semester's more than halfway over. We'll make it!
