Short Summary
It's year 2019 and it's the time after World War III. Tokyo has now become Neo-Tokyo. Kaneda and his motorbike gang are hanging around one night. Unfortunately, one of his gang named Testsuo is injured and has been taken away by the government. Kaneda soon finds out that the government is doing some sort of experiments on Testsuo and he also finds out that the mysterious project named 'Akira'.

Review and thoughts
'Akira' it's like a great movie with some good plots to keep you watching for two hours. This movie is really like a movie, but not much like an anime. (Maybe I've been watching too much comedy anime and I personally don't really like this type of action movie.) People who like violent action movie, this is probably your best choice. If you really think about this movie, I think there is also some good elements in this movie except 'violent actions'. The artwork is great. The dub version of this movie is not bad either. Overall, it's good enough to keep you watching for two hours.
