Short Summary
A teenage boy named Tenchi Masaki has
accidentally resurrected the demon monster named Ryoko(The girl in the
middle of the picture). She seems to like Tenchi a lot. And meanwhile, a princess
of Jurai named Aeka(the girl on the left side of the picture) has came to earth
to pursue Ryoko. Aeka's ship has somehow wrecked and has to stay with Tenchi.
She likes Tenchi, also. This famous comedy OAV series of 13 episodes has then started
with more and more interesting characters showing up in the following episodes.
Review and thoughts
This very popular anime has been around for two or three
years. This OAV series Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-ohki doesn't seem to be finish yet. Anyway, this
anime seems to focus very strongly on the development of the characters, which means the author
try to make their characters likeable(BTW, every characters are extremely cool in this series".
The story is pretty interesting, hysterical and also enjoyable to watch. The artwork and animation
are nice and okay. The background sounds and musics are also very nice. And their management of BGM
(background music) are also very good, which means they know when to put a BGM and what kind of BGM
to put. Let's talk about the sub(original Japanese voices)and dub(with English voices) version of
this OAV series. I have seen one episode of sub, and I know that the Japanese voices are sure
better than the English voices. But I think that the English voices are very good also. Since
I have been watching the dubbed voices of the OAV series, I think I'm very familiar with their
English dubbed voices. Therefore, I think I tend to like the dubbing version, I think among
all the dubbing that I have watched, the dubbing for Tenchi Muyo is perhaps the one that I like
the most. Anyways, this OAV series is just 'coooool' and is one of those anime that can easily become
your favorite anime.
