Short Summary
"Like a dream from a time faraway, a sweet memory lingers from the past. Like a kingdom that you reach, after many years of dreaming. El-Hazard is the eternal homeland, and the land of never-ending adventures. As long as there is a challenging spirit, and a readiness to fly into infinity The gate to El-Hazard shall be opened for you across millions of nights."
(Above paragraph is the intro from El Hazard) This is a fantasy story about a high school boy named Makoto and two other of his schoolmates(Nanami and Jinnai) and his teacher(Fujisawa) are transported by a beautiful to the "magnificent world"--El Hazard. There are two nations in El Hazard, the Roshataria and the Bugrom. Three of the people that is sent to El Hazard has aided the Roshtarian(the good side, persumably)and the other boy named Jinnai has aided the Bugrom(the bad side). The Bugroom has been constantly threatening the Roshataria and now the Roshtaria has to use their most destructive weapon, 'The Eye of God'.


Review and thoughts
This OAV series is a sci-fi, fantasy and comedy kind of anime(and sort of a love story too). I personally like this kind of anime, funny and fantasy. This series has a really nice plot and the story is exciting and intriguing. The graphics and animation are nice and okay. The opening song doesn't have vocals, unlike most of the anime.(It's kind of cool, but I don't like it.) And the ending theme doesn't seem to fit the nature of this anime. I don't like the opening and ending theme for this anime that much, however, the background musics are really nice. I noticed that this series has whole bunch of character in it. And the development of the characters seem to be very good even though there are whole bunch of characters in the series. All of the characters are cool.
