Short Summary
It is a story about two sisters and their father who move to the countryside due to the reason that their mother is sick and has to stay in the hospital in that countryside. The two sisters meet the mascot of the village they live in, Totoro.

Review and thoughts
Totoro is one of my favorite anime movie(OAV). No, actually I think I like this the best. I feel that this masterpiece of Miyazaki is a more realistic but natural one compared to others OAVs he had made. Why do I say realistic? I don't know, I think this legend of Totoro just becomes more true and alive by the hand of Miyazaki. I guess one of the reasons I like this anime is that it is simple, not complicated, but is a really heart-warming one. People might say Totoro is childish stuff. Yes, childish or naive is one of the reasons I like this anime. It's always better to be childish than really realistic in anime, I think. Every moment and scene in this anime just impressed me all the time: Satsuki looking for her sister Mei, the corn that has the word 'Okaasan'(mother) on it, Totoro and Mei and her sister grow that tree. You know what, I love Totoro the best among all the Miyazaki's series.
