Short Summary
Once upon a time ago, gods and demons are in one form, they were called "Shinma"(God-Demon). And in this story, Miyu who is a vampire herself, is responsible to pursuit the "Shinma". The spiritualist, Himiko has helped this mysterious vampire Miyu to find out her secret past life.

Review and thoughts
I would say it's a very stylish anime, the graphics are stylish, the story lines are stylish and even the setting is stylish. Let's first talk about the settings. The setting is basically set in modern time in Kyoto, Japan. But the story frequently take place in the ancient time in Japan as the main character recalls her memory. So you'll get this cool feeling of sometimes ancient, sometimes modern(What am I talking about!). As usual, when the story is one of those serious kind, the story lines tend to be complicated and unpredictable at the beginning, which makes VPM so 'stylish'. The graphics are really neat. When it comes to action scenes, the graphics are neat; when it comes to sentimental scences, it is also very neat and stylish. This anime is not really a horror type, but it definitely is an exciting one.
