Hi! Welcome to my music page. Here you'll find romanizations for songs that are Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Korean, and translations of German songs. I have also translated some album playlists. Maybe someday I'll also include some English songs (translated into German =P).
Making these pages has provided me with great learning experiences, and I hope y'all are likewise able to benefit from them.
I use big fonts for Asian characters so that the compacted multi-radical characters are just as easy to read as the simple ones. In some cases I use GIFs to display Asian text, because many computers (that I work on) mostly support only 8-bit Western fonts, but I'm starting to instead use HTML character encoding (i.e. 中国 is displayed as 中国). If unicode characters aren't properly displayed on your machine, you'll need to install some fonts. If your OS installation disk doesn't have an Eastern Fonts option, an easy fix is to simply install CquickTrans or JquickTrans. This programs install the "MS Song" and "MS Gothic" fonts, which will at least enable your web browser to display Chinese and Japanese, even if you're running Win95. I still haven't found a Korean font that works on my Win98 machine.
