Something to Sing

My current passion in the SCA is bardic arts: singing and storytelling. Not only is this a fun way to pass the time, it's also free! Resources are available on the internet or at any public library. As a service to all the aspiring bards reading this page, I thought I'd offer some resources.

The stuff on this page:

Original Stories and Songs

I've written a song or two over the past few months. I want to share them with you. Please, feel free to use them. If you are going to circulate them, please keep my name and the names of any co-writers attached.

Songs about the SCA in General:

Songs about Pennsic:

Poems about Casa Bardicci:

Songs about the Barony of L'Ile du Dragon Dormant, my home barony and dear to my heart.

Songs about specific SCA groups.

Songs about Baron Ernst Nuss von Kitzingen, head of my household.

Songs about The Lady Joane Glory, a local pirate ship-hold (household based on a ship).

Songs about House Broken Axe, a local archery household.

Teaching Poems

Another ongoing project, poems written in a specific form (eg: sonnet) that explain how to write that form. You'll understand if you read one.
