| If any of Our Founding Fathers were alive today they would probably never recognize this country for what it has become from what they intended it to be! Each of Our Founding Fathers signed the Declaration of Independence that set forth a Bill of Particulars listing 27 grievances against King George III for his crimes against the Colonies and his refusal to attend to those grievances. Our Forefathers considered these crimes against their basic Rights serious enough to go to war over ~ a war against the most powerful army on earth at the time! Yet within the last six years under the ' Bush regime ' we have seen these same basic Rights ~ as in the Bill of Rights ~ being trampled asunder all under the guise of national security, whether in the form of the so-called ' Patriot Acts ' and ' warrantless wiretaps ', or in the form of so-called extraordinary rendition ' of kidnapping & imprisonment of persons without charges in the same ' gulags ' once used by the former Soviet Union! Does any American who has ever sung the Star Spangled Banner or made the Pledge of Allegiance honestly believe that the USA is now the only government on the face of the earth openly claiming the ' right to torture ' as an official policy? Who would have ever thought that an' evil empire ' of the former Soviet Union would collapse only to have the last remaining ' superpower ' adopt the same policies towards fellow mankind under the pretense of an unconstitutional American ' imperial presidency ' ? Where has the high moral ground of the famed ' American Ideal ' gone under the ' Bush regime ' ? Former British Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Craig Murray, is publicly speaking out against the complicity and duplicity of the ' Bush & Blair regimes ' ~ and the outright LIES told by Bush, Rice, Powell, Cheney, Rumsfeld and others who claim to have obtained alleged ' intelligence information ' supplied by Uzbek sources extracted from prisoners under torture! It is this phony information that was used to justify war in Afghanistan & Iraq and was included in George W. Bush' s FALSE State of the Union Address made before Congress and misrepresented to WE THE PEOPLE ! Additionally, this false inteligence was used by Tony Blair before Parliament since British MI6 is jointed at the hip with the CIA, just as the GCHQ is connected to the NSA! Meanwhile the truth of the matter is that Uzbekistan President, Islam Karminov, has proven to be a tyrant and despot far worse than anything charged against Saddam Hussein! After all, Karminov was close friends with executives of Enron and Halliburton regarding the gas rights of Uzbekistan! And as the direct and proximate result, the USA paid Halliburton to build a huge military air base in Uzbekistan! But then came the disclosures of the falsified ' intelligence reports ', the barbaric torture and killing of prisoners, including boiling them alive inside the former Soviet Gulags now being used by the American CIA! All this is fully documented by groups like Human Rights Watch. Subsequent to these disclosures the USA has been unceremoniously kicked out of Uzbekistan, and Karminov is making a new deal with the Russians for the purchase of Uzbek gas rights. Additionally, the USA has lost its airbase as a condition! Does anyone remember George Washington ' s Farwell Address in which he clearly warned against any ' foreign entanglements ' ? Our Forefathers fought a bitter War of Independence to get away from a despotic tyrant! Do you think they would do business with the foreign tyrants enmeshed with President Bush Vice President Cheney? The truth is that everyone in and a part of the ' Bush regime ' has violated his or her respective OATH OF OFFICE ~ to uphold the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the laws of our nation! Violations of this sort would be an impeachable offense, up to and including capital offenses and could result in a sentence of removal from office as well as imprisonment. And what about the multiple nefarious overt and covert acts of surrogate NGO ' s and transnational corporations directly interfering and bribing opposition groups to destabilize, fracture, undermine and overthrow existing governments in the Caribbean, Central & South America ? What penalty should those flagrant criminal entanglements mean to the profiteers and warmongers? Once upon a time, America came to the aid of a friend ~ for the most honorable purposes ~ yet under the stench of the ' Bush regime ' we have seen civilian Liberians massacred by warring factions right in front of the U.S. Embassy ~ that ignored the deployment of a Peace Force as requested by Charles Taylor and the humanitarian groups in Liberia ~ a nation started by America and one that has even been loyal to America in all votes in the United Nations! The ' Bush regime ' ignored their pleas for humanitarian aid and intervention even though American corporations have extracted huge profits from their natural resources. Even in this hemisphere we have seen the ' Bush regime ' deliberately overthrow a duly elected popular democratic government in Haiti! Jean-Bertrand Aristide was kidnapped while a puppet regime, was installed just as the US has done in many other counties, including Afghanistan and Iraq. Wealthy ' sweat shop ' owners were able to continue to unfairly exploit the Haitian work force! This is the same sort of corruption that involved the criminal activities of lobbyist Jack Abramoff in his efforts to exempt the Slave Labor Camps found in Saipan and other U.S. Territories where women are forced to work 12 hour days for companies like Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger and the like ~ in direct violation of numerous U.S. Labor laws! Again we ask, whatever happened to our National Honor with Liberty and Social Justice for All? We can restore and Reform the American Ideal! We can implement the ' 10 Points of Reform for America ' !
