| Bells Created by Tam Cummings in 2001 Colors small amounts of White (MC) Red or Green (CC) Or colors to match theme Size F or G crochet hook Do not turn With MC Ch 4, sl st to form ring. Rnd 1: Ch 1, 10 sc in ring. Sl st into top of 1st sc (10 sc) Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each st around join with sl st to 1st sc (20 sc) Rnd 3 – 6: ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in next st and each st around, join to top of ch 3 with sl st. Rnd 7: Ch 2 * 4 dc in next st, sc in next st * repeat around between *s. Join with sl st to top of 1st dc. Fasten off. Rnd 8: Work in back loops this rnd. Join contrasting color with sl st, sl st in each st around. Join with 1st sl st. Fasten off Add Bells to inside, weave in ends. I used my starting yarn to hang the bells inside. Uses – you can chain a rope and tie two finished bells together or hand inidividually. |
