I designed these myself. I am not yet happy with the leaves so they will change a little. These are nice they are made of 4 pieces and do not need sewing. |
Flower Napkin Rings By Tam Cummings 2002 Materials Size h crochet hook Ww yarn green, yellow, pink, white, red Yarn needle Green Ring With green, Ch 3 Row 1 sc 2nd chain from hook, in back loops of each of chain. Row 2 Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in each st. Row 3 Ch 2, turn, 2 sc in 1st st, sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in last st. Row 4 Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in 1st st, sc in next 4 sts, 2 sc in last st. Row 5 20 work even with sc. Row 21 23 - sc across decreasing by 2 sts each row. Fasten off. Row 24 (adding flower color) Join one of the colors with sl st to 1st st, ch 3, 2 dc in same st, 3 dc in next st. (ch 3 counts as a dc) Row 25 Ch 3, turn, dc in same st, 2 dc in each st across. Fasten off. Repeat rows 24 & 25 for other end of green. Petals: make 2 With flower color Ch 6 Rnd 1 Ch 1, * sc, 4 dc in ring, repeat 3 more times, sl st to top of 1st sc Rnd 2 Ch 1, sc in same st, 2 dc in each dc, sc in each sc around, join w/sl st to 1st sc. Fasten off. Green Leaves With green, ch 6, sl st to form ring. Rnd 1 Ch 6, sl sto to ring, repeat 3 more times. Rnd 2 Ch 1, * 2 sc in st ch 6 of rnd 1, dc, 2 sc, repeat 3 times in same loop, repeat from * in each loop around. Rnd 3 Ch 1, sc in ea sc and 2 dcs in ea dc around. Assembly: Weave in loose ends. Take green piece, fold in half and stick through center of both petals. Thats all there is to it! |
