Seminole State Forest Terrain: Jeep roads, fire lines and game trails in this area of flat pine woods and oak hammocks. Limited hunting. Call first to find out hunting status (904-360-6506). To Get There: Take I-4 to SR 46 exit at Sanford. Turn left (West), and just past the Wekiva River bridge, turn right into the parking area. This 6,000 acre state forest, along with Rock Springs Reserve, comprises a major portion of Central Florida's black bear habitat. Beautiful Blackwater Creek runs through the middle with a bridge crossing on Sand Rd., the main entrance road. The riding is mostly double track roads with some single track possibilities on fire breaks and game trails. The building of bicycle trails in here is currently under review.
