Invitation to submit articles for publication in the JFP

All SEAPAVAA members are invited to participate in the special "millennium issue" of the Journal of Film Preservation (JFP) to appear in Spring 2000 by sending article(s) on any aspect of the preservation of moving image heritage considered relevant to this occasion.

During the last FIAF Publications Committee meeting held in Madrid on 13 April 1999, a long term concept for the Journal and its role in the context of other publications dealing with archiving of moving image heritage was discussed comprehensively.

Among the decisions taken at this meeting, the increase of regional representation and the broadening of the discussions were given particular attention. To achieve this, individual members of all regional and professional FIAF and non-FIAF associations are invited to present their articles for publication in the JFP.

Ivan Trujillo, FIAF president, has formally extended this invitation to Ray Edmondson, SEAPAVAA president in a letter which has also requested SEAPAVAA to cooperate with editorial board of the Journal.
