Wickham Park,
Melbourne Terrain: Mainly single track and a few jeep roads. Seven to 10 miles of trails, but lots of loops can make for an endless combination of routes. Skill To Get There: From Route 192 approach Wickham Road. Go north on Wickham to Parkway (large sign "Wickham Park"), then right on Parkway to park entrance. When you enter the park go to the right and follow the road until you see the sign for "Nature Trails". Go down the Nature Trails dirt road and you will find trails to the left and right of the road. There are short loops to the right and many long loops to the left of the road. Terrain varies from hard pack to soft sand. You can click, pan, and zoom on the map below to help find the trailhead.
Trails are located in a nearly 400 acre Brevard county park, so conveniences such as restrooms, water, and picnic tables are available. You'll have to share the trails with others, so watch out for them. If you work your way to the east border of the park you will find that kids have set up some cool jumps. If you want to take a break from the trails there are plenty of paved roads to ride too. There are so many trails to the right of the dirt road you can entertain yourself all day. Wickham Park offers camping, an 18 hole disc golf course, volleyball, soccer, swimming in freshwater lakes, and equestrian trail riding. There is a large playground, open fields, an amphitheater, and seasonal events at this multiuse park. The park is open during daylight hours.
