   Julie (Gingerelli)
Children:    Emily Jane, aged 2 1/2, and anther boy (a boy, we think)
that is due to arrive any day now
Address:  Rodeo, CA 94572

I met my wife in 1993 while on vacation at a Club Med in Martinique.  She happened to also be from the Bay Area, and we were married on October 1, 1994.  Our daughter, Emily was born April 25, 1996, and she is more beautiful and precocious than I ever imagined a little girl could be.  As for others of my family taht classmates would remember, my brother Ben livees in Temple City (L.A. area) and is working on a degree in industrial design.  He is still unmarried.  Linda lives down the stsreet from Ben and is a special ed. teacher.  She is married and has a 1 1/2 year old daughter.  Brenda is married to a minister and has two daughters.  They live in Decatur, Alabama, and recently started a new church.  My mother lives in Enterprise, Alabama, and keeps busy with a variety of valunteer work.

As for me, I earned a law degree in 1990, and I am currently working as in house corporate counsel for Catellus Development Corporation, a publicly held real estate operating company based in San Francisco.

I am lucky enought to spend my days in this beautiful city of San Francisco, which boasts, among other things, a large and enchanting Chinatown adjacent to the financial district where I work.  I frequently go for lunch time walks through Chinatown and absorb the rich Chinese ambiance that makes me feel for all the world as though I'm back in downtown Taichung.

Although I have not been back to Taiwan since our graduation, I intend to visit one day, perhaps when my children are older and could enjoy the trip.

I suppose the most significant change that I have undergone since high school is philosophical.  In my senior year of college, I abandoned my Christian faith, painfully but with the conviction that I could not honestly do otherwise.  In the years since then I have never had a single regret, and I have found that my value structure is much more solid, now that it does not rest on so precarious a foundation as religious faith.

Otherwise, I think I am still the same as I was in high school.  Perhaps I am oldr and wiser, but perhaps just older.  Being a parent has brought a lot of changes, as many classmates have known for much longer than I.  These days I'm more likely to catchmyself humming a song from Barney than from Pink Floyd.

I any classmate is ever in the Bay Area, please give me a call.  I'd love to hook up, at least have lunch or something.

Post Script!  I need to amend my answer to the Class of 82 Newsletter Questionnaire that I emailed you last week because I now have a new baby boy, Troy Alexander, born yesterday afternoon.  I hope it's not too late to slip that in there.
