I finished the hood and will type up the directions soon. The hood is removeable.  I have noticed a flaw in the finished item.  Will need to redesign it.  Tam

Scarf

Ch 205

Row 1:  Dc, ch 2, sc in 4th ch from hook, *skip next 2 ch, (2 dc, ch 2, sc) in next ch*, rep from * to * across, ch 2 turn.

Rows 2 - 8:  Dc, ch 2, sc in frist ch 2 space, *(2 dc, ch 2, sc) in next ch 2 space* rep from * to * across,  ch 2 turn.  At the end of row 8 do not ch 2, fasten off.

Finishing:  On unworked side of row 1, join with a sl st in ch 2 space, dc, ch 2, sc in same space, (2dc, ch2, sc) in each ch 2 space across.  Fasten off.  Weave in loose ends.

This size scarf will work with the hood I am creating.  If you want a scarf only, you may want to add a few more rows.  For adding the scarf you will need to stick to the original number of rows.
