Wreath

Wreath:

Size G crochet hook
worstead wieght yarn, grean or other colors of choice
Jar rubber from canning or rubber washer from hardware store (the second choice is more expensive)
bell or other decortaions

Note: with the jar rubber cut off the tab to make it round.
Rnd 1:  With MC sc around ring, keep sliding your stitches over to fit as many stitches in as possible, sl st to 1st sc.

Rnd 2:  Ch 3, (do not turn), work in back loops this rnd only, 2 dc in next st and in ea st around, dc in same st as ch 3, sl st to top of ch 3.  End here for a small wreath.

Rnd 3: (Medium wreath, for large wreath skip this rnd), ch 1, sc in each st around, join with sl st to 1st sc.  End here for medium wreath.

Rnd 3:  (Large Wreath) Ch 2 (do not turn), 2 hdc in next st and ea st around, hdc in same st as ch 2, sl st to top of ch 2.  End here for large wreath.

Finishing;  Weave in loose ends.  Attach bell.  Work ruffles to look nice, the larger wreath will have large waves and will take time to work them into small ripples.  Attach additional decorations.

Below are photos of the thre wreaths that I designed.  I had not yet added extra decorations to them yet, just the bells.  From left to right, large wreath, small wreath, and medium wreath.
This is a photo of a wreath that was made by my Mother or Grandmother.  This one used a larger jar rubber, but I used it as a guideline for my pattern.
