opinion of the submission and author = Kim--I like the light tone--I see her avoiding the tunnel, not exactly sure where she finds peace, and since that is the title of poem, I'd like where she found the peace to hit me in the face. It's the good times with her friends? It's the true love of a man? Would you consider a rewrite, pretend you aren't the writer, but as a reader, is the heart of your message up front, because it could very well be; there's every possiblity that the problem is me. Keep writing.

opinion of the story and author = Actually they're a benevolent race. I just don't know how these rumors get started. All they want in exchange for a little advanced technology is some of our water and a few of our people. You guys know I'm just kidding, right? I think you wanted Art Bell's web page. Having nightmares are we Gary? I guess I will be now. The words 'holy cow' keep coming to mind. I think we tapped into the main pwoer line of creativity here. Sci fi has been accused of only having a few basic plots but you've come up with something totally original. Well crafted with some brilliant descriptions, also original. Not much chance of a sequel, though, is there?

To me Mr. Ciccolini's writing style is very similar to those of the 18th and 19th century, his art form has a special touch to it that is a little bit undescribable.
