Looking for information on WILLIAM EARL HAWKINS, born in 1885 in NC. Lived in Bushspring Township in Spartenburg, SC. He died in a rest home near Toccoa, GA. in mid 1970's. He and 1st wife Ruby had a son, Marvin, who lived in Conyers, Ga. He and 2nd wife Effie had several children, Ernest, who served in the Korean conflict and Laverne. They were last seen in mid 1950's at my parents house, Jack Taylor.Other children were Genevieve, Mary Jane, and perhaps Patsy. Believe children lived in Oconee County and Central area of Pickens County,SC. He had three brothers-Elzie, Henry and George; one sister, Sallie Taylor. other sisters died young. Posted for Jimmy G. I am looking for information on my Grandfather. He was born in Rockdale County Georgia 11-29-1894. My Grandfathers name was Clarence A. Hammond His fathers name was Benjamin F. Hammond. The last name could have been spelled Hammonds. That is what is on his marriage certificate. His mothers name was Emmaline Hammond. I am looking for more info on my Grandfathers parents and any other relatives of his. My Grandfather had a farm in Fitzgerald, Georgia where he died. He was married to Nannie Barnes.
