James Harris Scott fought during the civil war and the record says he enlisted from Conyers in NEwton County. I believe he married Sarah Richardson. James Harris Scott had a son Walter Levi Scott(my grandfather). In 1900 I find James and Walter in MArion County Alabama. In that time frame there must have been more children. Would love to find someone from this line. James Harris Scott's father was John Robinson Scott also from Conyers. He died and is buried in Pontotoc County, MS.
