posted by Gary Deaton on Friday, June 9, 2000: I am looking for any information on Jeff and Elizabeth Box (unk. maiden name). I found them in the 1870 Walton Co., Georgia census - but have found nothing on them since that time. I have a picture of their grave site on the old Clack Road in Walton Co. Both grave stones were damaged in the early 1900's by vandals, but when the new grave stones were put up the names on the stones were listed as Jeff and Elizabeth Smith. Their daughter, Octavia Ann Box, married my Great-grandfather, John Marion Clack.

I have only a name > I believe his father's name is Alan Veal. Thomas Veal married Mary Ammons (Almond?) and produced Robert Veal and Vertna Veal. Vertna Veal was my great-grandmother. She owned property in Rockdale. I am looking for any information about Thomas Veal's parents. He was born in the late 1800s or early 1900s.
