I am researching the Waugh surname. I have found from my gggrandfathers Civil War military records that he was born in Henry Co. GA. His name was Robert K. Waugh and was born about 1835. I have found some land lottery info from 1832 that a Robert Waugh received land in that lottery. I have also seen a Robert K. Waugh on an 1830 census on microfiche, but it was very hard to make out age. If anyone has info would love to hear from you. Thanks, Bryan K. Waugh

Looking for info on Joseph T. Woodruff, born April 17, 1807, exact location in GA unknown, died 1859 in Walton County, GA. He had a son named Edward or Edwin, but was known as E.W.P. He was married to Elizabeth Ragan. We're trying to verify his father being Benjamin Woodruff, born March 17, 1772 in St. Andrews Parish, McIndosh County, GA, and who his grandfather was. Some info show his grandfather being Major Joseph Woodruff, married to a Mary Forrester, but the descendents of Joseph and Mary don't verify that info.

Troy Cleon Turner, b. 1884 Jasper Co., Ga., m. Opal Sykes from Covington, Newton Co., Ga.? They lived for a number of years in Covington, possibly in & before the 1930s. They also lived 4 or 5 years in Macon, Ga. when he worked for the railroad. Old family info indicates children and grandchild- ren, probably in Macon. If true, possibly a grand- son Jimmy and granddaughter Mary Ann who would be mid to late 60s now. I've seen mention of a Troy Cleon Turner, much younger, in the Otis Nixon family and related to Clifford Nixon who I believe married a Turner. As a child I heard mention of "Aunt Clifford", but knew nothing more. Feel sure there is some connection, and would love to hear from anyone who has any knowledge or information at all in this connection. Many thanks.
