A kingdom in trouble calls the legendary Brave Fencer Musashi to restore peace to the land. He is summoned by Princess Fillet and is told to retrieve the Lumina, the sword of Luminescence. He is also given the Fusion sword.
Musashi retrieves the Lumina sword located high atop Spiral Tower, and then returns to see that Princess Fillet has been kidnapped.
Musashi then has to begin his quest to liberate the five Crests and find the five legendary scrolls, and of course, save the Princess! On his long upcoming journey, he will encounter several enemies, including the evil Thirstquencher Empire.
