Fei Fong Wong:
Fei Fong Wong, or simply Fei, is a man who doesn't remember his past. He is an experienced martial artist, as well as a good artist when it comes to painting. Fei is eventually forced to leave his village due to an accident involving the destruction and death of friends and Lahan itself. |

Citan Uzuki:
Citan is a the village doctor of Lahan, even though he lives in the outskirts on a mountaintop. He is very intelligent, and enjoys studying machines and tinkering with them. He has a more serious personality, and he is very good with a sword. |

Bartholomew Fatima:
A former member of the royal family of Fatima of the land of Aveh, he was forced to leave and become a sand pirate. He commands the Yggdrasil and has a supportive and elite crew, which includes a good partner named Sigurd. Although Bart doesn't think before he acts, he is very skilled with whips. |

Elhaym Van Houten:
Elhaym, or Elly as everyone calls her, is Solarian military lieutenant. Her coincidental encounter completely changes the future for both her and Fei. She is a caring, polite, and positive character who plays a major role in Xenogears. |

Billy Lee Black:
Billy despises his father, and only recognizes him in blood. He is an Etone, or a Wel slayer because of his past. His mother was hilled by a Wel, and the shock caused his sister, Primera to lose her voice. He lives at the 'Ethos' headquarters, the home of a religion connected with Solaris.... |

Rico Banderas:
A demi-human created in Solarian labs, he has become the champion of the battle arena in Nortune. Alothough not much is known about him, he appears as a large and strong character. |

Chu-Chu:
A pink marshmallow who likes chu chalk like this. Not chu much more chu say.... Other than the fact that this character plays a very weak part in the game. Chu-Chu also has no gear, except for herself. She just grows into a huge pile of fluff. |

Maria Balthasar:
Maria Balthasar is a citizen of Shevat, the floating city. Her gear, Siebzehn, was created by her father who was brain washed by Solaris. Maria is also the grand daughter of Ol' Man Bal. Maria's gear is VERY powerful, but in hand to hand combat, Maria is probably the weakest of all the characters. |

Emeralda:
Emeralda is a very mysterious girl, and misunderstood. Dressed in robes of cloth, she ofter talks about 'Kim.' It is possible to find out about Kim later in the game, just read the Secrets. |
