Badminton belt loops
Remember the belt loops are for the scout doing their best to learn about the sport or academic activity, and by putting the new techniques to practice with fellow scouts, in their community, or working with an adult. No specific requirements are usually listed in the booklets. The check list is only a guide.
To earn the belt loop:
_____1. List the equipment needed to play badminton.
_____2. Know how to grip the racquet.
_____3. Be able to hit the shuttlecock using the following strokes.

__ sidearm forehand __ sidearm backhand
__ underhand forehand __ underhand backhand
_____4. Know the rules of badminton.
_____5. Play a game of badminton using the proper equipment and following basic rules.
_____6. Show good sportsmanship while participating in the sport.
