Heritages belt loops
Remember the belt loops are for the scout doing their best to learn about the sport or academic activity, and by putting the new techniques to practice with fellow scouts, in their community, or working with an adult. No specific requirements are usually listed in the booklets. The check list is only a guide.
To earn the belt loop:
_____1. Prepare a family history book. Include the following in this book:
_____a. Describe your family traditions.
_____b. Draw a family tree. List parents, grandparents, great-parents. If your family immigrated from another country include what country they come from.
_____c. List what languages your family speaks.
_____d. Describe your family's cultural/ethnic heritage.
_____e. Describe a special relative or ancestor who is important in your family's history.
_____2. Share your family history book with your den.
_____3. "Do your best" while participating in this scholastic activity.
I certify that ___________________________ has completed the minimum requirements to receive the belt loop.
