Table Tennis belt loops
Remember the belt loops are for the scout doing their best to learn about the sport or academic activity, and by putting the new techniques to practice with fellow scouts, in their community, or working with an adult. No specific requirements are usually listed in the booklets. The check list is only a guide.
To earn the belt loop:

_____2. Know how to care for your equipment.
_____3. Learn and demonstrate the following:
_____grip racquet correctly
_____hitting the ball (forehand side) _____hitting the ball(backhand side) Be able to hit the ball 20 times without missing.
_____4. Learn and practice making the ball spin a certain way.
_____5. Learn and practice the following strokes.
__ push shot __ forehand drive __ backhand drive __ block shot __ serve
_____6. Learn and practice the rules of the game.
_____7. Know how to score a game
_____8. Play a game of table tennis using proper strokes and following rules.
_____9. Demonstrate good sportsmanship while participating in this sport.
