So you found a girl who thinks really deep thoughts.  What's so amazing about really deep thoughts?
--Tori Amos, "Silent All These Years"
My Poetry
Note: This page contains some mature themes and language, because life contains some mature themes and language.
So, you've stumbled upon my poetry, which really isn't poetry, just the rantings of my heart and mind from time time I was fourteen until the present.  Most of these poems are autobiographical, but a few of them aren't.  You can discern for yourself which ones aren't; I would like to keep just a bit of privacy.  Just a bit, of course, since the reason I share this page at all or the reason I write these at all is because I have this need to feel that someone, somewhere, might hear my story someday and see in it their own or discover the secrets of my soul.  Names haven't been changed to protect the innocent in these poems.  I apologize to these individuals.  I've arranged the poems in alphabetical order rather than chronilogically just to confuse those of you who are trying to trace the chronology of my life through these poems.  A lot of the later ones are dated, which will probably help you out.  It would be mighty flattering if someone was obsessed enough to care.  It's mighty flattering that you're reading this introduction at all or that you might click on one of these poems.  Thanks, man.

I never lived through the great depression, but sometimes I feel as though I did. And I don't have answers to every single question. But that's okay, 'cause I'm just a kid.
