As the salty waves lick at my feet.

I look westward into the setting sun.

Thinking of you, my heart aches with loneliness;

you seem worlds away, across the great infinite horizon.

I ache for your smile, your eyes, your hair, your softness.

Only you can brighten my life and make me whole again.

As the sun sinks lower, lighting the purple sky,

My sadness deepens, longing for you, your touch, your love.

Another day passes behind us, bringing us closer again.

So tonight my love, I'll dream of you, of life and love to come.

As we meet in our dreams,
